wrapped up their 2018 season at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte
in Concord, North Carolina from November 1-3 in the 12th annual
running of the 'World of Outlaws World Finals' presented by Can-Am.
A pair of $12,000 to win contests were held in front of a standing-room-only
crowd at the Charlotte-area speedplant. During the two rounds of
time trials, Dale McDowell knocked down the quickest lap in Group
A for Friday's show, while posted the fastest time in Group B for

Motorsports Enter Fall Classic with No Luck...
28, 2018) Kinzer Motorsports made their way to Whynot Motorsports
Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 26-27 for the 24th Annual
Coors Light 'Fall Classic.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special
drew a talented 43 car field to the Magnolia State facility to vie
for the $15,000 winner's check. On Friday night during the qualifying
session, Dale McDowell timed in fifteenth fastest in Group A on
the rugged, rough racing surface. Dale then finished seventh in
his stacked heat race on Saturday evening and was later caught up
in a pileup during his consolation event. Unfortunately, the Chickamauga,
Georgia ace was not able to transfer into the 100-lap headliner

Kinzer Entry to Eleventh Place in DTWC
22, 2018) Next up on the racing calendar for Kinzer Motorsports
was a visit to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio from
October 19-21 for the 38th edition of the 'Dirt Track World Championship.'
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season finale took place at
the facility on the banks of the Ohio River and a gargantuan $100,000
paycheck was on the line. Dale McDowell took the win in his first
heat race on Friday night before placing seventh in his final prelim.
After scoring a triumph in Saturday's consolation race, Dale rolled
off from the outside of the ninth row in the 100-lap DTWC that was
eventually pushed back to Sunday afternoon due to inclement weather.
The Chickamauga, Georgia standout - despite getting caught up in
a lap 44 pileup - was able to climb up to the eleventh finishing

100 Prelim; Rallies to Eighth in Headliner!
14, 2018) The rain-postponed 'World 100' took center stage
in the Dirt Late Model world on October 12-13 at the famed Eldora
Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Following yet another rain-out on Friday,
a pair of $10,000 to win Twin 25s kicked off a hectic day/night
doubleheader at the "Big E" on Saturday afternoon. Dale
McDowell laid down the ninth fastest time overall during qualifying
before securing the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat
race. Dale then picked off three competitors during the 25-lapper
to nail down a solid tenth place effort.
At night, the sole focus of everyone in the pit area at the hallowed
1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant was on the 48th Annual 'World 100'
and capturing the whopping $51,000 winner's check, along with the

7, 2018) Dale McDowell, of Chickamauga, Georgia, invaded
Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on Saturday evening,
October 6 for the annual running of the 'King of the Mountain Fall
Classic.' The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series (SAS) presided
over the single-day shootout in the Volunteer State and a $7,500
winner's check was on the line. Dale knocked down the sixth quickest
lap in Group A during the qualifying session and later grabbed the

starting fifteenth on the grid in the 50-lap main event, "MacDaddy"

1, 2018) For the second straight Saturday night, Dale McDowell
was in victory lane celebrating a $12,000 win... this time at the
historic Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia in the annual 'Dixie

up his seventh feature win of the 2018 racing season and his largest
payday of the year so far on Saturday evening, September 22 in the
'Magnolia State Cotton Pickin' 100' finale at Magnolia Motor Speedway
in Columbus, Mississippi! Dale timed in sixth fastest in Group A
during the qualifying session before running second in his heat

team was a visit to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia
on Saturday night, September 15. The Southern Nationals Bonus Series
rolled into the northern Georgia facility to preside over a single-day,
$10,000 to win throwdown. Dale McDowell placed second in his loaded
heat race, which lined him up starting the 60-lap main event from

Kinzer Motorsports Entry to Dirt Million Top Ten!
26, 2018) The Kinzer Motorsports team and driver Dale McDowell
ventured to the immaculate Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield,
Ohio from August 24-25 for the inaugural running of the 'Dirt Million.'
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series was the sanctioning body of
choice for the two-day spectacular, which kicked off on Friday night
with a pair of $10,000 to win 'Dirt Million' duels. Dale ran second
in his heat race and later started/finished seventh in his 30-lap
On Saturday evening at Mansfield, a standing-room-only
crowd poured into the facility to witness the most lucrative Super
Late Model race in 2018, as the 'Dirt Million' paid a whopping nearly
$203,000 to the winner. Dale won his heat race in preliminary action

Climbs to Sixth in North/South 100 at Florence!
12, 2018) Dale McDowell and Shane McDowell Racing (SMR)
spent August 8-11 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky,
as the Cincinnati-area speedplant played host to a lucrative four-day
stretch of racing action sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series. In Wednesday's $12,000 to win 'Ralph Latham Memorial,'
which was contested on a very rough racing surface, Dale ran fifth
in his heat race and third in his B-Main and was not able to transfer
into the 50-lap feature. On Thursday night in the 'North/South Shootout,'

the #17m team found themselves near the Minnesota / Wisconsin border
at the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin on
August 2-4 for the 31st Annual 'USA Nationals,' which was sanctioned
once again by the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series.
The extended weekend kicked off on Thursday evening with a $6,000
to win preliminary program. Dale McDowell placed seventh in his
loaded heat race and fifth in his consolation event, which unfortunately

28, 2018) The 2018 version of the Schaeffer's Oil Southern
Nationals Series wrapped up tonight at the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway
in Tazewell, Tennessee. Dale McDowell stopped the clock second quickest
overall during the qualifying session before taking the victory
in heat race action. After leading the first 21 circuits of the
$10,000 to win series finale, Dale was hit in lapped traffic by
Michael Chilton and suffered a flat left rear tire. The Chickamauga,
Georgia star then had to rally from the tail end of the field in
the 53-lap affair to salvage a fifth place showing behind only victor
Brandon Overton, Donald McIntosh, Michael Chilton, and Casey Roberts.

of the 2018 Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series tour took
the Kinzer Motorsports team to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville,
Tennessee tonight, as a $5,300 winner's check was scheduled to be
up for grabs. However, heavy rain showers passed through the area
following qualifying, which wiped out the remainder of the program.

locked him into the outside of the third row for the start of the

his way past a trio of competitors to land on the podium in third

Nationals trail tonight at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia.
The Chattanooga-area facility drew a 28 car field and each competitor
had their sights set on the $3,500 payday. Dale stopped the clock
second quickest in Group B during time trials prior to rolling off
from the outside of the second row in the 35-lap headliner. "MacDaddy"
ran third most of the distance, but worked past Randy Weaver for
second on lap 31 and quickly caught leader Vic Hill. Dale made a
strong bid for his second series win of 2018, but finished a very
close runner-up - a scant 0.058 seconds - behind Hill!

Southern Nationals Series headed to northern Georgia tonight for
another $5,300 to win contest at Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia.
Dale McDowell posted the third quickest time in Group A during the
qualifying session and later started the 53-lap feature event from
the inside of the third row. Dale was then running in the eighth
position late in the feature distance before an unfortunate incident
with Michael Page. Due to Dale getting out of his car to have a
friendly conversation with Page, series officials dropped the Chickamauga,
Georgia ace to twenty-second in the final finishing order.

Speedway's Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series showdown falling
by the wayside days ago due to inclement weather, Swainsboro Raceway
stepped up to the plate to hold a second straight $5,300 to win
program tonight at the Swainsboro, Georgia facility. Dale McDowell
wheeled the Kinzer Motorsports entry to the second fastest lap in
Group B during time trials and later started the 53-lap headliner
from the outside of the second row. During the course of the race,
which was contested on a one-groove racing surface, Dale moved up
to third to land on the podium once again behind only victor Brandon
Overton and runner-up Ross Bailes.

the inside of the eleventh row in the headliner, Dale stormed past
fourteen competitors at the Volunteer State bullring to salvage
a solid seventh place effort.

the 2018 Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series schedule was
slated to take place tonight at the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway
in Bulls Gap, Tennessee. Unfortunately, a heavy thunderstorm at
around 6:30 this evening washed out the $3,500 to win special event.
No makeup date was immediately announced by track and series officials...
14, 2018) Chickamauga, Georgia standout Dale McDowell claimed
his sixth checkered flag of the 2018 racing season tonight in the
Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series opener at the picturesque
Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia! Dale laid down the third
quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session before taking
