(May 22, 2015) Team Dillon Racing (TDR) kicked off a huge Memorial Day holiday weekend tonight at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia, as the Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour presided over a $4,000 to win shootout. Dale McDowell clicked off the fastest lap in Group B during the time trial session and later finished fourth in the fast dash. After starting the 40-lap main event from the outside of the second row, Dale moved up to run third behind only winner Donald McIntosh and runner-up Derek Ellis.

 
Dale McDowell Fifth in WOOLMS Stop at Ponderosa Speedway

(May 10, 2015) Dale McDowell and the #17m TDR team stormed into Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky and Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on May 8-9 for a pair of $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdowns. On Friday night at "The Pond," Dale clicked off the second fastest lap in Group B during time trials prior to picking up the win in his heat race. After drawing the fifth starting spot before the drop of the green flag in the 50-lapper, Dale wound up finishing right where he started... in the fifth position behind only winner Rick Eckert, Shane Clanton, Chub Frank, and Josh Richards.

At Smoky Mountain on Saturday evening, another $10,000 top prize was on the line for Team Dillon Racing. Dale posted the eighth quickest time in Group A during qualifying and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the 50-lap headliner, the Chickamauga, Georgia ace blitzed up into the top five before slowing with only two circuits remaining. McDowell Climbs to Third in Spring Nationals Visit to Cleveland Speedway

(May 2, 2015) Team Dillon Racing (TDR) and driver Dale McDowell were in the pit area at the historic Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee on Friday night, May 1 for a $4,000 to win Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals Series battle. Dale won his consolation race in preliminary action, which placed him starting from the outside of the third row in the 40-lap headliner. During the course of the caution-free affair, Dale drove past three competitors to nab a solid third place outing behind only victor Randy Weaver and runner-up Derek Ellis. Dale McDowell on Podium in Both Weekend Shows at Smoky Mountain!

(April 26, 2015) Dale McDowell and the #17m TDR team rolled into Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on April 24-25 for a pair of Super Late Model shootouts. On Friday night, the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) sanctioned a $5,000 to win program. Dale clicked off the second quickest lap in Group A during the time trial session, which placed him starting from the inside of the second row in the 40-lap weekend opener. The Chickamauga, Georgia star then proceeded to run as high as second in the A-Main and eventually earned an impressive runner-up showing behind only victor Randy Weaver!

At Smoky Mountain on Saturday evening, the Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour presided over a single-day showdown, which boasted a $6,000 winner's check. Dale knocked down the sixth fastest time overall during qualifying and later picked up the win in his consolation race. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the 50-lapper, "MacDaddy" drove all the way up to second before settling for a third place effort behind only race winner Casey Roberts and runner-up Jimmy Owens. McDowell Rallies Past Twelve Cars in Spring Thaw at Bulls Gap!

(April 19, 2015) Team Dillon Racing (TDR) and driver Dale McDowell ventured to Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday evening, April 18 for the annual running of the 'Spring Thaw.' The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series presided over the one-day showdown at "The Gap" and a $6,000 winner's check was on the line. Dale unfortunately slapped the wall during the qualifying session, but later rallied to fourth in his B-Main to earn the eighteenth starting spot in the 50-lap headliner. The Chickamauga, Georgia standout then proceeded to pick off twelve competitors during the 'Spring Thaw' to salvage a sixth place effort behind only winner Ray Cook, Billy Ogle, Jr., Donald McIntosh, Vic Hill, and Stacy Boles. Dale McDowell Competes in March Meltdown at Boyd's Speedway

(March 22, 2015) Dale McDowell and Team Dillon Racing (TDR) invaded Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Saturday evening, March 21 for 'March Meltdown,' which was sanctioned by the Southern Nationals Bonus Series. Dale qualified second fastest in his group during the time trial session and later scored the win in the dash. After sitting on the pole and leading the first sixteen circuits of the $4,000 to win feature event, Dale unfortunately spun while in the second spot on lap 18 and subsequently retired from the 40-lapper in the nineteenth position. DIRTcar Nationals Nightly Results from Volusia Speedway Park...

(February 21, 2015) The 44th edition of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' came to a close earlier tonight at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida, as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned yet another $10,000 to win extravaganza. Chickamauga, Georgia star Dale McDowell faltered to tenth in his heat race and did not start his B-Main, but was awarded a provisional to gain access into the 50-lap 'DIRTcar Nationals' finale. Dale quickly retired after two circuits; however, and was officially placed thirtieth in the final rundown.

(February 20, 2015) Another $10,000 winner's check was up for grabs tonight in the penultimate event of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Dale McDowell clicked off the fastest lap in Group B during World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying tonight and later scored the win in heat race action. After drawing the seventh starting spot for the 50-lapper, Dale drove to the front and led laps 31-37. An untimely caution was unfortunately to his demise and the Chickamauga, Georgia ace was forced to settle for a strong runner-up outing behind only race winner Shane Clanton.

(February 19, 2015) The World of Outlaws Late Model Series made their first appearance at Volusia Speedway Park in 2015 tonight, as the national touring series presided over another $10,000 to win showdown at the Barberville, Florida facility. Dale McDowell bagged the seventh fastest lap in Group A during the WOOLMS qualifying session and later placed second in his loaded heat race. "MacDaddy" then drew the seventh starting spot prior to the 50-lap headliner and was up to third in the feature before settling for a solid sixth place performance.

Dale qualified second quickest in his group during the time trial session and later scored the win in heat race action. After drawing the third starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag in the $10,000 to win feature event, Dale climbed up to second in the running order of the 40-lapper and eventually nabbed a strong runner-up effort behind only victor Scott Bloomquist.

 
Winter Freeze Nightly Results from Screven Motor Speedway...

(February 7, 2015) The 'Winter Freeze V' weekend came to a close tonight at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia, as the second event of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule boasted another $10,000 winner's check. Dale McDowell timed in eleventh quickest in Group A and later finished fifth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. The Chickamauga, Georgia star then started the 50-lapper from the inside of the tenth row, but retired after only 10 circuits and settled for a twenty-third place performance.

(February 6, 2015) Night two of the 'Winter Freeze V' at Screven Motor Speedway took place tonight at the Sylvania, Georgia bullring and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series season opener paid $10,000 to the winner. Dale McDowell clicked off the sixth fastest circuit in Group A during time trials and later ran second in his loaded heat race. After drawing the fifth starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag in the 50-lapper, Dale eventually slipped back to twelfth at the finish tonight in the Peach State.
