Blitzes to Fourth in $50k North/South 100 at Florence!
9, 2015) Dale McDowell and the TDR team traveled to the venerable
Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on August 7-8 for the 33rd edition
of the 'North/South 100,' which once again boasted a hefty $50,000 top
prize. On Friday night, Dale placed fourth in his first Lucas Oil Late
Model Dirt Series heat race, while he blitzed all the way up to second
in his final prelim of the evening. Following an eighth place effort
in Saturday's pole dash, Dale started the 100-lap headliner from the
outside of the eighth row. The Chickamauga, Georgia star then rallied
past twelve competitors during the crown jewel extravaganza en route

Tackles Southern Nationals Stop at Smoky Mountain
1, 2015) The #17m team strolled into Smoky Mountain Speedway
in Maryville, Tennessee on Friday night, July 31 for a visit by the
Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series. Dale McDowell qualified well
and later ran third in the fast dash, which lined him up starting from
the inside of the second row in the $5,300 to win main event. Dale then
moved up to second in the running order and was running there on lap
49 when he slowed with a broken right rear shock on his Warrior racecar.
The Chickamauga, Georgia ace wound up retiring from the 53-lapper in

Enters Mud Summer Classic Doubleheader at Eldora Speedway
23, 2015) Team Dillon Racing (TDR) and driver Dale McDowell
invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on July 21-22 to
compete in a pair of $2,000 to win Super Late Model events that helped
make up the 'Mud Summer Classic' with the NASCAR Camping World Truck
Series. On Tuesday night, Dale ran third in his heat race, but went
for a spin early in the 25-lap headliner, which forced him to rally
from the back of the pack to salvage a seventh place effort. At the
"Big E" on Wednesday evening, Dale won his heat race in preliminary
action and was leading early in the A-Main before retiring with mechanical
problems on lap five, which relegated the Chickamauga, Georgia star

11, 2015) Dale McDowell and the #17m TDR team drove through
the pit gate at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on Friday
night, July 10 for the 'Firecracker 500.' Dale posted the fourth fastest
time in Ultimate Super Late Model Series qualifying, which locked him
into the outside of the second row for the start of the $5,000 to win
main event. Unfortunately, Dale slowed on lap four while battling for
the second position, which dropped the Chickamauga, Georgia ace to a

29, 2015) Team Dillon Racing (TDR) and driver Dale McDowell
scored their first feature win of the 2015 racing season on Sunday evening,
June 28 at Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia! The unsanctioned 'Independence
Day Celebration' show was held at the "World's Fastest Half Mile
Clay Track" and 29 entrants piled into the pit area. Dale knocked
down the fastest lap overall during the qualifying session, which locked
him into the pole position for the 40-lap main event. The "MacDaddy"
then led each and every circuit of the headliner to bag the $3,000 triumph

7, 2015) Dale McDowell and the #17m TDR team traveled north
to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 4-6 for the
21st edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' The three-day crown jewel
extravaganza once again kicked off with a pair of Twin 25 programs at
the 1/2-mile speedplant. On Thursday night, Dale set Fast Time in his
group during qualifying, won his heat race, led the first ten circuits
of the $2,500 to win feature event, and eventually finished an impressive
runner-up in the 25-lapper behind only victor Jonathan Davenport. At
the "Big E" on Friday evening, Dale ran third in his heat
race prior to moving up to fifth in the $5,000 to win main event to
finish behind only winner Dennis Erb, Jr., Tim McCreadie, Jason Feger,
and Don O'Neal.
When the stakes were raised on Saturday in the Buckeye
State, all eyes were fixated on the huge $100,000 winner's check. Dale
grabbed the second transfer spot through his heat race and later started
the 100-lap grind from the outside of the fifth row. The Chickamauga,
Georgia star then drove up through the talented field and was in the
fifth position when the checkered flag was displayed. However, with

kicked off a huge Memorial Day holiday weekend tonight at Boyd's Speedway
in Ringgold, Georgia, as the Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour
presided over a $4,000 to win shootout. Dale McDowell clicked off the
fastest lap in Group B during the time trial session and later finished
fourth in the fast dash. After starting the 40-lap main event from the
outside of the second row, Dale moved up to run third behind only winner

of Outlaws Late Model Series showdowns. On Friday night at "The

time trials prior to picking up the win in his heat race. After drawing
