Lanigan. After drawing the eleventh starting spot prior to the drop
of the green flag in the $30,000 to win mega-event, Dale blasted past
seven competitors during the 100-lapper, which was cut short by ten
circuits due to rain showers. "MacDaddy" was credited with
a hard-fought fourth place performance at Lernerville tonight behind
only 'Firecracker 100' winner Darrell Lanigan, Scott Bloomquist, and

Team Dillon Racing (TDR) team returned to dirt-slinging action tonight
in night two of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series-sanctioned ‘Firecracker
100’ at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Dale would
start the night by qualifying in the eleventh position in Group B, but
unfortunately endured a hard wreck in his heat race that not only dropped
him to an eighth place prelim finish, but also caused him to scratch
for the rest of the evening. The Chickamauga, Georgia ace did not compete
in the $6,000 to win feature, which was ultimately won by Jimmy Owens.
(June 26, 2014) Dale McDowell, of Chickamauga,
Georgia, was back in action tonight at the storied Lernerville Speedway
in Sarver, Pennsylvania in round one of the 8th Annual 'Firecracker
100' weekend. Dale timed in fourteenth fastest in the second qualifying
group for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series-sanctioned extravaganza.
Dale then finished fourth in his heat race prior to picking up an impressive
victory in his B-Main. After starting the $6,000 to win feature from
the inside of the eleventh row, Dale proceeded to pick off eight competitors
during the 30-lapper to claim a respectable thirteenth place effort.
Competes in LOLMDS Double-Dip at Cherokee & Smoky Mountain
22, 2014) Dale McDowell and Team Dillon Racing (TDR) returned
to dirt-slinging action on June 20-21 in a pair of $10,000 to win Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney,
South Carolina and Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee.
On Friday night in the annual 'Grassy Smith Memorial' at Cherokee, Dale
grabbed the sixth and final transfer spot through his heat race and
later wound up fifteenth in the 50-lap feature event. At Smoky Mountain
on Saturday evening, Dale was involved in a heat race wreck, but later
received a Fast Time provisional to gain access into the 50-lap headliner.
The Chickamauga, Georgia star was eventually placed twentieth in the
final rundown of the 'Ole Smoky Moonshine Classic.' Complete results

Bags $100,000 for Winning Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora!!!
7, 2014) "MacDaddy" Dale McDowell picked up the biggest
win of his illustrious career tonight at the famed Eldora Speedway in
Rossburg, Ohio, as he emerged victorious in the 20th edition of the
'Dirt Late Model Dream!' After placing fourth in his heat race, Dale
claimed the win in his B-Main to earn the outside eleventh row starting
spot in the 100-lap crown jewel main event. The Chickamauga, Georgia
star then blasted to the front of the stellar field, eventually grabbing
the top spot from Scott Bloomquist on the 79th circuit. Dale went on
to lead the remainder of the extra-distance affair to record the huge
$100,000 payday over John Blankenship, Scott Bloomquist, Jimmy Owens,

6, 2014) Dale McDowell, of Chickamauga, Georgia, scored an
impressive victory tonight in his Twin 25 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg,
Ohio! Dale timed in eighteenth quickest during the qualifying session
tonight at the "Big E" prior to claiming a heat race triumph
over Jason Riggs, Wendell Wallace, and John Blankenship. After starting
the 25-lap feature event from the outside of the second row, Dale blew
past leader Darrell Lanigan on lap 14 and survived a late-race restart

the 78 entrants during qualifying and later placed third in his stacked
heat race behind only prelim winner Billy Moyer and runner-up Steve

25-lap main event, Dale was able to pick off four competitors en route
to a solid sixth place showing.
Sweeps Spring Nationals Weekend to Pocket $10,000!!!
25, 2014) Dale McDowell and Team Dillon Racing (TDR) swept
the final two Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals Series events on May
23-24 to pocket a total of $10,000! On Friday night at Boyd's Speedway
in Ringgold, Georgia, Dale laid down the quickest lap overall during
qualifying to earn the outside front row starting spot for the 40-lap
feature event. The Chickamauga, Georgia star then led from flag-to-flag
at the Chattanooga area facility to claim the $4,000 payday ahead of
Billy Ogle, Jr., Ivedent Lloyd, Jr., Donald McIntosh, and Jamie Perry!
The action quickly shifted to the historic Dixie Speedway
in Woodstock, Georgia on Saturday evening for the Spring Nationals finale.
It was a similar story as far as the #17m team was concerned, as Dale
set Fast Time during the qualifying session prior to rolling off from
the outside of the front row in the 50-lap main event. "MacDaddy"
once again dominated the feature field to lead from green to checkers
en route to the $6,000 triumph over Billy Ogle, Jr., Casey Roberts,

Storms from Twelfth to Cash $4,000 Duck River Win!
8, 2014) After nearly a month away from the racetrack, Dale
McDowell quickly returned back to form tonight, as he notched his second
feature win of the 2014 racing season at Duck River Raceway Park in
Wheel, Tennessee! The Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour rolled
into Duck River tonight and 32 competitors signed into the pit area.
Dale timed in sixth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session,
but later won his consolation race to advance into the night's 40-lapper.
After starting the A-Main from the outside of the sixth row, Dale vaulted
to the front of the strong field and eventually grabbed the top spot
away from Billy Ogle, Jr. on lap 39. The Chickamauga, Georgia ace led
the final two circuits to claim the $4,000 payday over Ogle, Jr., Jared

Grabs Podium Finish at Brasstown; Sees Rain at Duck River
12, 2014) Dale McDowell and Team Dillon Racing (TDR) returned
to Dirt Late Model competition on Thursday night, April 10 at Tri-County
Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina. The Old Man's Garage Spring
Nationals tour rolled into Ray Cook's 1/4-mile facility and a $4,000
winner's check was on the line. Dale clicked off the sixth fastest time
during the qualifying session, which locked him into the outside of
the third row for the start of the 40-lap feature event. The Chickamauga,
Georgia ace was then able to move past three competitors during the
A-Main to finish third behind only race winner Mike Marlar and runner-up
Friday's $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series
showdown at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee was then washed

Tipoff Classic Nightly Results from Smoky Mountain Speedway
8, 2014) The second and final night of the 'Tennessee Tipoff
Classic' took place earlier tonight at Smoky Mountain Speedway and a
$12,500 top prize was on the line in the NDRL extravaganza. Dale McDowell,
who was looking to sweep the big weekend, qualified second quickest
in Group A during time trials prior to recording a heat race victory.
The "MacDaddy" then drew the outside second row starting spot
prior to the 60-lap feature event and ran amongst the top five throughout
much of the distance. Dale was shuffled back to sixth at the finish
of the 'Tennessee Tipoff Classic' finale, as he trailed only winner
Chris Madden, Mike Marlar, Scott Bloomquist, Jonathan Davenport, and
Billy Moyer, Jr.
7, 2014) Chickamauga, Georgia star Dale McDowell recorded his
first feature win of the 2014 racing season tonight in the 'Tennessee
Tipoff Classic' opener at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee!
Dale timed in third fastest in Group A during National Dirt Racing League
(NDRL) qualifying and later scored the win in his stacked heat race.
After drawing the outside of the front row for the start of the 40-lap
main event, Dale grabbed the point at the drop of the green flag and
dominated the caution-free race to score the $7,500 triumph over Chris
Madden, Ray Cook, Billy Ogle, Jr., and Kent Robinson! (Tommy
Tackles March Madness Doubleheader at Cherokee Speedway
2, 2014) Dale McDowell and TDR invaded the renowned Cherokee
Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on March 1-2 for the annual running
of 'March Madness.' This year's version of the doubleheader paid $3,000
and $10,000 to win respectively and were both Southern Nationals Bonus
Races. On Saturday, Dale started off his weekend by clicking off the
eighth quickest lap during qualifying, which locked him into the outside
of the fourth row for the 30-lap main event. During the course of the
feature, Dale drove past four competitors on his way to a strong fourth
place performance behind only victor Jason Hiett, Casey Roberts, and
Business really picked up today at Cherokee, as several
new teams and cars piled into the pit area for the $10,000 to win weekend
finale. Dale once again timed in eighth fastest during qualifying and
later ran second in his heat race behind only prelim winner Steve Francis.
After rolling off from the eighth starting position in the 60-lapper,
the Chickamauga, Georgia native unfortunately ran into problems and
completed only seventeen circuits, which dropped him to a disappointing

Nationals Nightly Results from Volusia Speedway Park
22, 2014) The 43rd edition of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' officially
came to a close tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and Dale McDowell had
his sights set on the $10,000 payday. Dale laid down the fastest lap
in Group B during WOOLMS qualifying and later scored the win in heat
race action over John Blankenship, Billy Moyer, and Clint Smith. After
drawing the third starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag
in the 50-lap feature, Dale moved up to second and battled for the point
with Kyle Bronson on several different occasions. Unfortunately, "MacDaddy"
suffered mechanical woes with less than ten laps remaining and was forced
to retire from the finale at VSP in the twenty-fourth position.

thunderstorms forced Volusia Speedway Park officials to cancel this
evening's action at the 'DIRTcar Nationals' presented by Summit Racing
Equipment, setting the stage for a huge finale on Saturday night featuring
the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. The winner of the 50-lapper

during time trials prior to grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot
through his heat race behind only Scott Bloomquist, Steve Francis, and
Darrell Lanigan. The Chickamauga, Georgia ace once again put on a show
during the $10,000 to win A-Main, as Dale stormed past twelve racecars
during the 50-lapper to score a third place effort behind only victor
Casey Roberts and runner-up Scott Bloomquist.
